MSA Professional Services announces Katlyn DeVoe, EIT, joined as an agriculture engineer in the Madison location to support the firm’s growing agricultural practice.
DeVoe grew up on her family’s dairy farm in southern Wisconsin where they milk roughly 100 cows and run almost 2,000 acres. She has a strong passion for the dairy industry and the drive to help farmers.
“Katlyn is a great asset to the MSA team,” MSA Agriculture Team Leader Andrew Skwor, PE, CPESC, said. “Her deep-rooted ties to agriculture, combined with her experience in ventilation design, dairy heat stress management and animal housing design, will provide direct benefit to our agriculture clients.”
DeVoe recently graduated from Iowa State with a master’s of science degree in agricultural engineering and a bachelor’s degree in the same specialty. She has done extensive volunteering with the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers and interned at Riverview, LLP, an agribusiness in Morris, Minn.
