The “Milwaukee Business Journal”
reports that MSA, with headquarters in Baraboo, is the third largest Wisconsin engineering firm.
Rankings are determined by the number of licensed engineers in the state. This compares with MSA’s ranking as the 8th largest firm in 2016.
The survey shows that the firm has 82 engineers licensed in Wisconsin and a total of 327 employees in 16 offices and six states.
MSA President & CEO Gilbert Hantzsch attributes the firm’s growth to investments the firm has made to improve.
“Over the past few years, we have rededicated ourselves to creating a vibrant employee-ownership culture through the creation of our internal Communities of Practice,” said Hantzsch. “These communities have allowed us to fully realize the strength of our organization, and have given our staff the autonomy to pursue their passions in developing our best practices.”
Hantzsch noted that MSA’s culture and purpose, which is “enabling people to positively impact the lives of others,” helped convince the nationally-known Ourston Roundabout Engineering team to recently join MSA.
