MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of Tyler Michlig, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, work under a professional engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence – a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.
Michlig joined MSA in 2021 and serves as a public works engineer in Madison. He holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His experience includes municipal, wastewater and lift station design, as well as construction inspection for a variety of municipal endeavors including storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main and roadway rehabilitation projects.
“Huge congratulations to Tyler on attaining PE licensure,” commented Mike Statz, chief operating officer at MSA. “This is an immense accomplishment and professional milestone; I look forward to Tyler’s continued contributions to the clients and communities we serve in Wisconsin.”
