As a client service manager at MSA, Kate assists our Minnesota clients with project management, community engagement and planning. Her skill set also includes policy development, public speaking and creative writing. Kate serves as a market lead for state and federal projects and client development within the state of Minnesota, where she helps establish and nurture both new and existing clients and market opportunities in support of company growth.
With more than 19 years of experience, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge to her current position. Prior to MSA, she worked in Land Use Management and as a county agricultural inspector for Goodhue County, where she interpreted and applied applicable state, county and local codes, ordinances and regulations. She also prepared statistical reports and conducted research on land use, physical issues, social issues and economic issues.
Outside of MSA, Kate volunteers for several organizations, such as the Red Wing, Minn., Advisory Planning Commission, which guides the future development of land within the community to ensure a safe, pleasant and economical environment for residential, commercial, industrial and public activities.
Kate earned her bachelor’s degree from Hamline University in psychology and studio art, and she also studied at the University of St. Thomas, the University of Minnesota and the University of Texas.
