Nick currently serves as senior vice president and Buildings service line lead for the firm where he manages multidisciplinary teams that perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural and civil engineering, and architectural design. As part of MSA’s 100% ESOP employee-ownership model, Nick serves as one of MSA’s ESOP Trustees, and in 2019, he was selected to also fulfill a seat on the firm’s board of directors. In August of 2024, MSA announced Nick as the company’s CEO-elect, a position he will assume January 1, 2025.
Nick has demonstrated consistent success through strong client relationships and servant leadership, supporting clients throughout the firm’s footprint as Buildings service line lead. Nick also has expertise in water system master planning, design and construction, wastewater facility planning, design and construction, roadway and utility infrastructure, GIS, capital improvement planning and funding administration.
Nick earned a degree in environmental engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he later was honored with an Outstanding Alumni Award. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina and Wisconsin. He is also a graduate of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Senior Executives Institute (Class of 2023) and a member of the ACEC Coalition of American Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (CAMEE).
Nick enjoys spending time with his family and serving his community through his church and various local organizations.
