MSA Professional Services (MSA) announces the appointment of Raine Gardner, PE, Senior Project Engineer, to the firm’s Board of Directors.
Raine joined MSA in 2006, and her experience spans municipal engineering, partnering with clients to provide solutions for stormwater, water main, and most notably her planning and design of waterfront development and recreational park and trail projects. She chairs MSA’s Parks and Recreation Community of Practice (CoP), a mechanism whereby professionals practicing the same disciplines across teams, programs and states gather to share knowledge and best practices.
“I’m excited to be part of the team leading MSA and to be able to contribute to the firm’s continued success and growth,” said Gardner, an 11-year veteran of MSA who is based in the firm’s Baraboo, Wis. office.
“We are very excited to have Raine join the Board of Directors,” said Mike Statz, MSA Chariman of the Board. “Raine brings tremendous critical thinking skills and a willingness to ask questions. We have witnessed this in her approach to the Parks and Recreation CoP and look forward to her bringing this same enthusiasm to the Board.”
As the Parks and Recreation CoP Chair, Raine has led the charge in increasing MSA’s project revenue in the discipline five-fold since the CoP began. She served as co-lead for Erb Park and Pool project in Appleton, Wis., and is currently serving as co-lead on Wisconsin Rapids’ transformation of Mead and Witter Parks.
“I’m honored to be recognized by my peers and to be leading our firm into the future,” said Gardner.
