MSA announced today the promotion of John Langhans, PE, to the position of vice president and Land service line lead.
In this role, Langhans will be responsible for the management of eight teams dedicated to advancing the firm’s surveying, GIS, planning, land development, parks and recreation, urban design, landscape architecture, environmental, agricultural and building inspection services.
“John is a proven and trusted leader at MSA,” commented Mike Statz, PE, chief operating officer. “He is the perfect person to take the helm of our Land services line and will confidently propel us forward as we continue to grow and expand our offerings.”
Langhans’ tenure with MSA spans over 16 years, most recently serving as a municipal team leader assisting clients with a variety of municipal planning, design and construction projects. The new role will allow Langhans to lead a group of eight professional teams responsible for the development and implementation of Land service line projects and client pursuits.
Langhans earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin.
