MSA is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Borchardt, PE, ENV SP, to the position of team leader within the firm’s Marshfield, Wisconsin, office.
Dan joined MSA in 2012 and has been serving as a senior project engineer and an Envision sustainability professional. His experience includes project management, design and field engineering for a variety of rural and urban transportation, utility and construction projects. He maintains a vast working knowledge of funding programs to accompany municipal projects and is additionally skilled in park and recreation planning and design.
Borchardt earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is a certified Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Wisconsin. He is WisDOT certified through the Wisconsin Highway Technician Certification Program (HTCP) Transportation Materials Sampling, holds a Portland Cement Concrete Technician (PCCTEC) Level I certification, a Nuclear Density Technician Level I certification, and is an active officer in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Wisconsin Section and Northwest Branch, participating in conference planning and facilitating STEM outreach events. Recently, he was one of 24 professionals to graduate from the ACEC-Wisconsin Leadership Institute class.
