MSA is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Ruhland, PE, to fulfill a seat on the firm’s board of directors.
Ruhland joined MSA in 2000 and serves as vice president and Mobility service line lead where he oversees the company’s transportation division — including roads and highways, bridges, airports, traffic and roundabouts, construction management and real estate acquisition services. The mobility service line currently employs over 65 professionals based in 12 MSA office locations across Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Georgia. In 2021, he was selected to serve on the American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin (ACEC WI) Transportation Leadership Committee (TLC) and will step into the chair role on the TLC in July of this year.
“I am extremely pleased to welcome Kevin to the board,” commented Mike Statz, chief operating officer and chairman of the board of directors at MSA. “Kevin has demonstrated strategic thinking and great dedication to his work, his team, and the engineering industry as a whole throughout the entirety of his career. He is a proven and respected leader whose years of experience and passion will help guide our company forward in this new role.”
