MSA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of Project Engineer Josh Doo, PE, who recently earned Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
To earn a PE license, engineers must hold a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program, work under a professional engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from the state licensure board. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence – a symbol of achievement, assurance of quality and commitment to ethical standards of practice.
Doo joined MSA in 2020 and serves as an engineer on the firm’s Water service line, with expertise in various civil site development and public works projects. Doo graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has prior engineering experience working on civil site development projects in both Chicago and London.
“I’m thrilled to congratulate Josh on attaining PE licensure,” commented Mike Statz, chief operating officer at MSA. “This is a pivotal professional milestone and I look forward to Josh’s continued contributions to the industry — and to the clients and communities we serve.”
