MSA is proud to recognize Nick Wagner, PE, for being selected as a 2021 Outstanding Alumni by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Alumni Awards Committee. Wagner is one of five professionals selected for this honor, a recognition of graduate alumni of the past 15 years who are leaders their workplace, contributing public citizens and committed to helping educate and improve the communities in which they live and work.

Nick Wagner graduated from UW-Platteville in 2006 with a degree in environmental engineering. He began his career at MSA as a student co-op and intern before being hired full-time upon graduation in 2006. Within his 17-year tenure at MSA, Nick has served as team leader, vice president and Illinois program manager, and currently as senior vice president for the firm’s Buildings and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) service lines, leading teams that perform architectural design, structural, MEP and civil engineering projects across the Midwest. Furthermore, Nick serves as one of the firm’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) trustees and is a member of the MSA board of directors.

Outside of MSA, Mr. Wagner is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin, and an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies and American Society of Civil Engineers. He is an enthusiastic community volunteer and remains involved with UW-Platteville through the Environmental Engineering Advisory Board.

The 2021 University of Wisconsin-Platteville Outstanding and Distinguished Alumni will be recognized during a special award ceremony on October 22, 2021, as part of the school’s annual homecoming celebrations.
