MSA is proud to recognize Kevin Ruhland, PE, vice president of Mobility Services, for being selected to serve a four-year term on the American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin (ACEC WI) Transportation Leadership Committee.
The committee includes top representatives from the industry who will serve as liaisons to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and engage in efforts to “establish, maintain and improve policies and programs that promote a healthy transportation system and vibrant economy in Wisconsin.”
In his role as Vice President of Mobility Services, Kevin leads a team of over 60 professionals dedicated to transportation engineering for roads, bridges, traffic, roundabouts and airports, as well as construction management and real estate acquisition. He has personally overseen a wide range of DOT transportation projects, including reconstructions, intersection designs, traffic studies and traffic signal installations across all five WisDOT regions and the greater Midwest.
Kevin joined MSA in 2000 and is a licensed professional engineer in Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kevin has engaged in three levels of ACEC Leadership training, including Wisconsin’s Leadership Institute, the ACEC National Pathways to Executive Leadership and Senior Executives Institute. He is an active member of MSA’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team, and in his free time, enjoys volunteering for and supporting a variety of opportunities in his local community.
