MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) announced today the hiring of Keith Brandau, PE, SE, as principal structural engineer Champaign, Illinois, where he will serve on the firm’s growing Buildings service line.
Keith joins MSA with over 35 years of professional structural design and engineering experience, most recently as the structural department head of an infrastructure consulting firm in the Urbana-Champaign area. His range of expertise spans from water and wastewater treatment facilities to bridges, building frames and foundations for county, state, highway departments, highway authorities, and private clients. Mr. Brandau earned a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois and bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, and Wisconsin, and an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois (ACEC IL) – Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Committee that consults with the DOT on matters of policy and procedure. Keith is also a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois.
