MSA announced today the hiring of Paul Hudalla, PE, CFM, as a senior water resources project manager in the firm’s St. Paul office location.
Paul joins MSA with over 25 years of diversified experience in the planning, design and management of stormwater engineering projects, including policy development, drainage system planning, stormwater modeling, and regulatory oversight to meet water quality, flood protection, and organizational goals.
Prior to MSA, Paul served as a senior professional engineer during an 11-year tenure with the City of Minneapolis Public Works, Surface Water & Sewers Division. In this role he oversaw the city’s Flood Mitigation Program, including comprehensive stormwater modeling and watershed study efforts to identify and prioritize flood-reduction solutions across the city. Prior to working with the city, Paul served as a consultant for 14 years working with public and private clients, including over 30 Minnesota municipalities, to address stormwater management needs.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota and a graduate certificate in project management from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Minnesota and a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) through the Association of Floodplain Managers.
