MSA is pleased to welcome Sheri Scott to the firm, serving as senior project engineer in the Appleton, Wis., office.
Sheri joins MSA from Castle Rock, Colo., where she most recently served as water resources program analyst at Castle Rock Water. Here, she provided management expertise for water and water resouces-related projects, both for renewable and non-renewable water supply ventures. Her work also included the evaluation of water rights and supply acquisitions as well as data utilization to provide water supply and demand forecasting and planning models. Scott also developed a Water Efficiency Master Plan in accordance with Colorado Water Conservation Board requirements and a Water Resources Strategic Master Plan for the Town of Castle Rock which included near-term and long-term program budgeting of approximately $400 million.
Prior to Castle Rock Water, Sheri held a 9-year tenure as project engineer with Dewberry Engineers, Inc. in Denver, where she prepared alignment studies, designed new waterlines and wastewater mains/interceptors, planned pipeline rehabilitation projects, created and managed groundwater pumping facility projects and helped solve a variety of water, wastewater and pipeline concerns.
“Sheri brings over 15 years of experience in providing engineering and project management expertise for water-related utility and treatment projects,” said Greg Gunderson, team leader and Wastewater practice leader at MSA. “In addition, she brings a unique perspective from the dual experience of being a consultant and working for a water utility. She has been in the same shoes as our clients, which will be a real asset in her role at MSA. We are excited to welcome Sheri to the MSA family as she helps serve clients in the Fox Valley and beyond.”
Sheri earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Colorado.
