MSA is pleased to announced that Eric Schoot, project surveyor for the firm, recently passed his Professional Land Surveyors exam in the state of Illinois. Eric is now licensed to survey in three states: Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa.
Based in MSA’s Dubuque, Iowa, office, Schoot has worked on a variety of survey projects for village, city, county and state governments. He has extensive experience performing boundary retracement, platting, subdividing, topographic and GPS surveys throughout Wisconsin and Iowa, now adding Illinois to his geographic reach.
Schoot joined MSA in 2013 after earning his bachelor’s degree in land surveying and mapping science from St. Cloud State University. He also holds an associate’s degree as a land surveying technician from Nicolet Area Technical College and a Survey Technician Level I Certificate from the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). Schoot is a proud member of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors.
